I wanted to create something that genuinely helps people. I know how confusing and overwhelming insurance can feel, and I decided I was going to offer something better. No hidden clauses, no fast talking, no fluff, just real help, with real answers, for real people.
I have always been deeply in love with nature. In college, I studied birds, snakes, and plants just for the joy of it. One day while listening to a song with bird calls in the background, I thought about the vireo, a small songbird with a beautiful name that sticks in your head. I discovered that the Latin root of vireo, which is "virere," means "to be green" or "to flourish." I knew right then it was perfect. That is what I want my company to represent: growth, hope, and nature.
I want every person who connects with me to walk away feeling like they were seen and heard. I want them to feel secure, supported, and confident that they made a good decision for themselves and their family.
Most people feel like insurance is cold, confusing, and designed to trick you. I understand that fear. I built my business to be the opposite of that. I truly care. I would rather help someone than make a sale. My goal is to support, not pressure. My satisfaction comes from knowing someone sleeps better at night because of what I helped them with.
I lost my younger brother when I was growing up. The tragedy was painful enough, but what made it worse was the way the insurance company handled it. They drained my family financially. Watching my parents spiral because of the debt made me realize no one should have to go through that. I had to walk away from it all for my own safety, but I held onto that lesson: helping families grieve in peace is priceless.
Great question. It depends on what is making them hesitant. If they are afraid of the cost, I would reassure them that every plan is built around their budget. You are not boxed in or forced to commit to something that does not fit your life. If they are unsure about the value of insurance, I explain that when life takes an unexpected turn, you do not want money to be the thing you have to worry about. Insurance gives you a cushion to grieve, recover, and protect what matters most.
I absolutely love learning. I crave it. I actually taught myself how to code this entire website because I wanted full control over how it looked and functioned. It took a while, but it was fun. I am always hungry for knowledge, and that passion spills into how I support my clients.
